6-Day Ruaha & Mikumi Safari

Meet your guide and travel toward Mikumi National Park. After arrival and park entry, enjoy an introductory game drive across the Mkata Plains and nearby woodland, looking for elephants, giraffes, zebra, buffalo, antelopes and predators before overnighting at your selected accommodation.

Spend the full day exploring Mikumi's plains, water sources and wildlife corridors. Your guide will choose routes according to current sightings, with time for photography, lunch and a relaxed afternoon game drive.

Leave Mikumi after breakfast and travel through southern Tanzania toward Ruaha. The day is primarily a scenic transfer, with stops as appropriate, followed by check-in and relaxation at your Ruaha-area lodge or camp.

Explore Ruaha's river systems, baobab woodland and open plains on a full-day game drive. Search for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes and birdlife while enjoying the park's remote wilderness atmosphere.

Spend another full day in Ruaha, allowing your guide to explore different sectors or return to productive areas from Day 4. The extra time is especially valuable for photography and patient wildlife observation.

Enjoy a final morning wildlife drive where timing allows, then begin the transfer to Iringa or your agreed onward destination. The safari concludes after drop-off or connection arrangements.
